Season Premiere!(:

Sooo. I must admit that I didn't actually watch the premiere on the day it was aired. (Don't shoot me!) BUTTT. I did go on good old Hulu and watched it when I found out I missed it. What am I talking about? Switched At Birth of course. (:

Yes. The show that became extremely popular after only one season. Hell, after a couple shows of the season! (If you haven't watched this, I STRONGLY recommend this). Now. The first episode of the show was last Tuesday. The second will be tonight!!! 8 o'clock EST. (I don't know what that would mean for anyone else. lol)

Now. The normal happened in the opening show. It continued from the last season. Bay is with Emmett, Daphne is jealous. Etc Etc.. As far as the romance goes in the show, it's basically the same as any other ABC family show. However, the part of the show that I love the most. Isn't the fact that Bay isn't her parents real daughter and Daphne isn't her mothers real daughter. Not the fact that they were switched at birth like the title gives away. But the fact that Daphne and Emmett are deaf.

For most people, being deaf is something that's different. Confusing. Hard to comprehend, even. For me... it's a part of my daily life. Something most people don't know about me is that my grandparents are deaf. Actually... 4 grandparents since my real grandparents divorced and remarried. Two live across the country and I don't talk to them much. But the other two live in town. I'm extremely close to my grandma. I can relate to Bay on a certain level because I'm not the best with sign language. I know the basics and I can have a conversation with my grandma in sign language but it's difficult. It really is a whole other language.

It doesn't even stop there with my family and deafness. My dad works in a school system close to my town. (A neighboring town) He interprets for a 5th grade deaf boy. I think it's an amazing job. And I'm proud of him for that.

The deaf community is a big part of my life, and I thought I'd share that along with how awesome that show it. (: About an hour till it's on! XD

P.S. I'm sorry... I'm an epic failure... lol. There have been two shows so far. Well... three total now. And I'm a failure and have only watched one since I refused to watch last nights without watching the second one... BUT. I am going to watch both On Demand tonight when I get home. (:

Sorry guys... lol

Work experience = unpaid labour (aka slavery)

So the title pretty much sums my week up. I did work experience at a veterinary clinic. I was pretty nervous walking in the door, (what if I mess up and cause an animal to die or something? What if I don't know how to do something?) My fears were calmed when they handed me a broom and a mop and told me to clean the place. Then, lucky me, got to start cleaning out animal cages! Around lunch time things got a little more interesting, from about 12-3 every day is surgery time, and even better I was allowed in to watch. Now, watching various cats and dogs get cut up probably doesn’t seem like everybody's cup of tea but watching surgeries were the highlight.
Fortunately I do not have a weak stomach, at one point I was eating lunch while watching one of the surgeries. Unfortunately though, I think I might be allergic to cats. Yeah. Not good. But as the week went on I took a lot of medication to stop my allergies, learnt how to use a mop (don't judge me) and declared my hate on kitty litter.
The radio was on the whole time on a trashy music station playing, you guessed it, trashy music! I confess, anything that isn't classical music I call trashy music. But now I actually know the lyrics to heaps of 'popular' songs!
But amazingly on my last day the place was understaffed and it was one of their busiest days. A huge 'shipment' of the shelter dogs and cats came in, and they all needed to be vet checked and de-sexed.  After the animal's operation they are pretty much just put down on the floor on a blanket until they wake up, and then they are carried into a cage. Reason number 401 why I am glad human surgeries are different to vet surgeries. Anywho, there were a couple of cats lying next to the wall and then they suddenly woke up from the general aesthetic  but the back half of them was still paralysed/numbed. So they began pulling them selves around the edge of the room using only their front paws, (it was so cute!) one travelled a fair way before we realised it had woken up. Everybody else  was busy with cutting up another cat, so I was instructed to take the kittens back to their cages. Easier said than done. The first time I had ever carried a cat was that morning, so I barely had gotten the hang of it without having to worry about a ginormous ouchy on their side.
Want to know the weirdest thing that happened while I was there? A cat came in whose registered name was 'Shit Head.' I'm serious.
Well that was my week :) Now I really want to become a vet, doing slavery at the clinic persuaded me to keep aiming to do that.  (But I never ever want to touch kitty litter again!)

I'll Solve The Crime. ;)

Okay. So NCIS. One of the best. (In my opinion) Crime television shows out there. The characters make the show funny and light feeling even when someone got murdered and cut into a million pieces. The crimes are just messed up completely! But, that's what makes the show amazing.

Sometimes I find the plot way to.... predictive. But other times it's like. I would have never thought they would have done it! I mean yeah, there are the times where they think they have the right person. Even you think that. But it's only a half hour into the show so you kind of know that they aren't truly the people.

I used to hate all crime shows. They just seemed kind of stupid in my eyes. But now I love it! Maybe it's all the sass DiNozzo gives Gibbs and McGee. Or maybe the craziness that is Abby. Or Even Ducky!!! I love all the characters in it. And don't you guys think that DiNozzo and Ziva should be together?! I think they are sooo cute together! XD

This show is a 7.8/10 on IMDB but I personally think it should be higher. This show is insanely good. Much better than Law and Order SVU (In my opinion of course) or any of the others. Although I do enjoy watching Law and ORder SVU as well. (:

Has Anyone Heard Of...

Hello, and my name is.. BRANDON! First of all, that title is just random...

I'm here to tell you a bit about games. 'coz, like... I'm totes a gamer ... **coughbrandonisuphinselfcoughcough

Anyways, today I'll be talking a little bit about the iPod touch :)

Most of you guys would know that the iPod is property of Apple.
So, instead of talking about all of that well-known stuff, I'm here to talk about... Well, other stuff!

The new iPod touch, 4th Gen, is currently the one in which I am writing this on... It comes with iMessage, FaceTime, a microphone and a camera.

Well, with this camera, you can do many things...

Firstly, there is the obvious; taking pictures. There are many apps for image enhancing, editing and sharing. You've got wowcam, instagram, etc, etc.

Then, you've got recording. That's video...

With this camera, there is a high...ish standard of quality. Some vloggers (video loggers) have taken to using their iPods to do their vlogs, as they can edit and post videos on their iPods...

Some of these are... Luke Conard (LukeConard, Luke), Ingrid [insertlastnamehere] (missglammorazi, thegridmonster).

I've recently considered doing vlogs, but seriously, who wants to see me ugly face and deep voice **thatwasrhetorical.

Brandon Le, signing off, voicing the question 'NOOBZ' ... That wasn't a question... =.=
